The photo exhibition—I chose a purely documentary form for all the works shown here—resists the temptation to be a band-aid; the depiction of the untouched cannot heal immediately, but with its power—rooted in memory—it can have an effect, linger, fortify, and be a blanket, a light, and a railing.
