Positioned at the intersection of contemporary art and cinematic language STATIC CINEMA is an international exhibition platform, showing works of Lars von Trier, Graziano Arici, and Julia Fullerton-Batten, exploring the dialogue between photography and moving images.
The project, curated by Danila Tkachenko and Slavica Veselinović, will take place during Venice’s most significant cultural period — the Venice Film Festival and the Venice Biennale Arte — and brings together established and emerging artists whose practices engage with cinematic narration, memory structures, movement, and the visual grammar of film
